Holds an M.F.A. in Art History from Chitrakalā Pariṣat - Beṅgaḷūru, M.A. in History from Aṇṇamalai University - Chennai, B.Sc. from Bangalore University, and G.D. in Painting with 1st Rank throughout 5 years with gold medal from the KEN School of Art - Beṅgaḷūru.

Having several awards in art to her credit, she has had exhibitions, participations and collections around the world, worked as a member of the Karnāṭaka Lalita Kalā Academy in Beṅgaḷūru, and as an Art Lecturer in a college at Tumakūru, India.
